カロス地方で行われるバトル大会「バトルフェス」に参加することにしたサトシ。この大会は、ポケモンワールドチャンピオンシップスの参加者が多数集まり、順位を上げる絶好の機会だ！順調に勝ち進んだサトシがスーパークラスへのランクアップを賭けて対戦するのは、かつてカロス地方で戦ったジムリーダー・コルニ。コルニのメガルカリオにサトシはどう立ち向かうのか！？Japanese Summary Translation:

The dubs removed the Exploding With Life (命爆発) kanji that appears just as Corni poses for the Mega Evolution which is also the dialog she speaks during the characters display on screen. The title of this episode in Japanese also included those kanji. The English dub changes her dialog to: "Unlock... the power within!" The Korean and Thai dubs, based off Japanese, add their own text.
