Lob is a Pokémon Trainer that faced Ash Ketchum in a Pokémon World Championships Normal Class battle in Shalour City during the Battle Festival Challenge. Despite a good tactic to defend against Pikachu's Thunderbolt, he didn't last too long in the battle as Pikachu's Iron Tail knocked it out to give Ash Ketchum the match victory. Defeating Lob gave Ash Ketchum his third straight win of the day raising his rank to 1,022.
