Coil are suddenly going berserk in Kuchiba City. Satoshi and Go receive a report of a mysterious incident. Satoshi and his friends are in the middle of a power outage caused by a magnetic storm at the Sakuragi Laboratory. Could the magnetic storm be the cause of the outbreak of Coil in Kuchiba City?　


▲ Professor Sakuragi says that magnetic storms can cause precision machinery and electronic equipment to malfunction, but Pokémon too...?


▲ What Satoshi sees in Kuchiba City is Coil that've gone berserk, just as they said... And there's a lot of them!

Speaking of Coil, there's Françoise, Renji's Pokémon, an assistant at the Sakuragi Research Institute!　At the Institute, they try to figure out the cause of the Coil's rampage by collecting data from Françoise, but they can't figure out anything except that it's receiving mysterious radio waves. Then, Françoise finally shows signs of going berserk...!

On June 11th, 2022, this episode had its English dub original airing on Teletoon in Canada. The episode heavily featured Ren who was voiced by Billy Kametz. On the same day, his obituary was announced and it was revealed that he had died earlier in the week on June 9th, 2022.

The United States Netflix release of this episode on October 21st, 2022 added a dedication note placed before the credits which stated: "In Memory of Billy Kametz".
