The Pocket Monsters anime will start airing soon! It airs every Friday at 6:55pm! This is the site where we give you Anipoke information that you can't get anywhere else, such as an introduction to the Pokémon and characters that will appear in today's episode, comments from the voice actors and the director, and so on, just before the anime airs... but here comes an extraordinary news.

Earlier today, Pikachu (age unknown) of the Sakuragi Laboratory, a Pokémon research center in Kuchiba City in the Kanto region, was arrested on suspicion of theft for stealing electricity from homes on several occasions.

The Pokémon Police are investigating the possibility that the suspect, who is the mouse Pokémon Pikachu, may have used the stolen electricity.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of stealing a large amount of electricity on several occasions at a residence in Kuchiba City. According to Detective Decker, who was in charge of the investigation, a sketch created based on eyewitness testimonies at the scene had a striking resemblance to Pikachu, which led to a thorough search for Pikachu around Kuchiba City.

▲ An investigation of nearby electric-type Pokémon led to the reveal of the suspect.

The suspect was revealed to be the partner Pokémon of Satoshi (10), a Research fellow at the Sakuragi Research Institute, who will be looking for the culprit in order to clear his partner Pikachu of any wrongdoing.

▲ Satoshi has a dream of becoming a Pokémon Master and is a famous trainer in the area.

When questioned, the suspect said, "Pika?" "Pikachu!"and ate the Pokémon food offered to it! The suspect Pikachu then fled the station during interrogation!

We'd like to head out to the field too! The crime scene will be broadcast today at 6:55 pm on the anime Pocket Monsters!
