Weiss' Zangoose is a member of Plasma Gang who follows the commands of Weiss. When N (Natural Harmonia Gropius) managed to rescue Braviary, Weiss' Zangoose and Schwarz's Seviper were summoned out to intimidate N (Natural Harmonia Gropius). Plasma Gang realized that N (Natural Harmonia Gropius) had deceived them, so they intended to hurt him with Weiss' Zangoose and Schwarz's Seviper. Both the Pokémon seemed to hesitate a bit when N (Natural Harmonia Gropius) said he could free them as well from being abused by Plasma Gang but they were then forced to follow commands and attack N (Natural Harmonia Gropius). N (Natural Harmonia Gropius) vowed that as long as Pokémon like Weiss' Zangoose and Schwarz's Seviper were being abused in the world by thugs, he'd continue fighting to free them. He wanted Weiss' Zangoose and Schwarz's Seviper live happily but at that time he wasn't able to help them.

Schwarz's Seviper and Weiss' Zangoose were sent out to battle against Pikachu and Iris' Excadrill. Iris' Excadrill managed to knock out Schwarz's Seviper while Pikachu almost finished off Weiss' Zangoose but Braviary came to Pikachu's rescue.
