Kotaro Koizumi is a Japanese stage actor and voice actor who makes a cameo appearance in the Pocket Monster 2023 series.

On March 30th, 2023, the official Japanese anime Twitter account posted the official reveal of the voice actors for the school girls and the homeroom teacher.

Comments from Kotaro Koizumi, who plays the Homeroom Teacher:
My name is Kotaro Koizumi, and I have the honour of playing the role of the homeroom teacher of the main character Liko in the Pocket Monsters anime.
When I was first offered the role, I was both surprised and honored that they would ask me, and I immediately said I would accept the role.
Of course, the main characters are the children, but I hope that you will also enjoy seeing how the teacher which I played in the anime is involved in the story.


この度ア二メ「ポケットモンス夕一」で主人公リコの担任の先生役を務めさせていただきました、小泉孝太郎です。
最初お話をいただいた時は、まさか自分がと思うとともにとても光栄で、すぐに引き受けたいとお返事をさせていただきました。
主人公はもちろん子どもたちなのですが、私が演じさせていただいた先生もどのように関わるのかも楽しみに観ていただけたらと思います。
