Summary:
As Satoshi and his friends continue their hard training at Muro Island, they are attacked by the Rocket Gang, who attempt to steal their Pokémon. During the subsequent battle, Haruka's "Cocoon Pokémon" Karasalis evolves into the "Butterfly Pokémon" Agehunt!! Haruka is overjoyed at this evolution she had been looking forward to, but Musashi from the Rocket Gang is not amused. She has been carefully raising her Mayuld, which is similarly a "Cocoon Pokémon", but it shows absolutely no sign of evolving. After losing to Satoshi and the others, Musashi starts training Mayuld, but none of the Pokémon the Rocket Gang currently have on hand are strong enough to make for good sparring partners. Wanting to fight strong Pokémon in order to evolve Mayuld, Musashi challenges Satoshi and his friends one again, but...!?
