Summary
The alarm in the Eterna museum suddenly rings. Ash and co. who are nearby run inside the museum and meet up with the crooks. The crooks happen to be Team Rocket. Jessie holds up the precious, blue orb that she stole. Meowth is disguised as a Sunflora. Officer Jenny runs in with her Stunky. Ash looks up Stunky in his Pokédex. Jessie sends out Seviper. Seviper uses Haze, and the whole room is clouded in smoke. Officer Jenny orders that the doors are sealed so that Team Rocket can't escape. All the doors are slammed shut and more police cars rush to the scene.

Ash and co. recognize Gardenia speaking to a few police officers. They say hello to Gardenia. Gardenia is upset that the crooks used grass type Pokémon to steal the orb. Suddenly, Officer Jenny comes out with the first suspect - Nando. Ash and co. recognize Nando from the beginning of their Sinnoh journey. Nando claims that he is innocent. His intention was only to check out some of the history in the museum, not to steal anything. Officer Jenny doesn't believe Nando at all. Gardenia also recognizes Nando because Nando battled her in the Eterna Gym. She says that Nando was the winner of the battle.

Ash and co. soon find out that Gardenia is the leader of the Eterna gym. Dawn asks Nando if he has participated in any Pokémon contests. Nando tells her that he won his first ribbon not too long ago. Officer Jenny changes the subject and states that Nando is the thief. She holds out a picture of a Sunflora carrying the blue orb. Nando had a Sunflora with him in the museum, but it escaped when the police officers caught him. Officer Jenny thinks that Nando's Sunflora ran off with the orb.

Another Officer Jenny walks into the scene. She states that she is the Officer Jenny of Viridian City. Viridian City Officer Jenny tells Eterna City Officer Jenny that she needs to look at other suspects, not just Nando. The two Officer Jennys glare at each other. Meanwhile, police officers are searching everywhere outside the museum. In one of the museum rooms is Team Rocket. Meowth peeks outside and notices all the police officers there. They wonder how they will make their escape. Jessie states that they will fight their way out.

Gardenia explains what the special orb that Team Rocket stole is. Apparently it's an orb that is linked up with Dialga and Palkia. Ash and Dawn want to capture the real crooks now. They send out their Pokémon to help search for them. Meanwhile, Nando is brought into a private room with Officer Jenny and a few other police officers. Nando keeps on persisting that he is innocent.

Nando's Sunflora is walking around in the museum. Two police officers spot Sunflora, and they begin to chase it. Sunflora uses Leech Seed on the officers to protect itself. Then Sunflora runs off, but it soon meets with Aipom and Turtwig. Sunflora uses Leech Seed on them too. Ash and co. spot Aipom and Turtwig all tied up. The two officers that were tied up report back to Officer Jenny. Sunflora finds a vent in the wall and decides to climb in it. Meanwhile, Team Rocket is hiding on top of the ceiling while two officers search their room. They find nothing and leave.

Team Rocket drops down from the ceiling in relief. The air vent that Sunflora climbed in to leads straight to Team Rocket. Pikachu and Piplup are right behind Sunflora. They all watch Team Rocket from above. Because everyone is looking for a Sunflora, Jessie and James has Meowth take off its Sunflora costume. Then Jessie and James get new disguises for themselves. Piplup thinks that they should attack, but Pikachu stops Piplup. Pikachu begins to run back to get Ash. Piplup decides to attack Team Rocket head on. Piplup and Suflora walk out of the air vent, and they confront Team Rocket. James sends out Cacnea. Cacnea uses its Pin Missile attack on them.

Meanwhile, Ash and co. are following Pikachu. Pikachu is leading them to Team Rocket. Team Rocket, who are still in their disguises, confronts Ash and co. They keep their eyes closed and walk pass them so that Ash and co. doesn't notice them. However, Sunflora uses attacks Team Rocket, and their disguises fall off. Gardenia realizes that Nando's Sunflora is innocent, and Team Rocket are the guilty ones. Team Rocket starts off by saying their motto. Ash demands that Team Rocket give back the orb, but Team Rocket refuses. Ash tells Pikachu to get ready to attack. Gardenia sends out Turtwig. Ash and co. know that they can't attack Team Rocket because their attacks may damage the orb.

Soon, the Eterna City Officer Jenny comes into the scene. She tells Stunky to attack. Jessie has Wobbuffet step into the field. Stunky hurls an attack at Wobbuffet, and soon the entire room begins to smell really bad. Jessie, who is holding the orb, waves her arms in the air. The orb falls out of her hands. Gardenia's Turtwig uses Leaf Storm on the orb so that it doesn't fall onto the ground. Gardenia catches the orb. Without the orb, Team Rocket is powerless. They run out of the museum but are stopped by a whole squad of police officers. The smell from Stunky is let outside, and all the officers are affected by the smell. This gives Team Rocket the chance to escape.

The two Officer Jennys thank Nando for helping them. Nando is just glad that the orb is safe again. Ash asks Nando if the legend about Dialga and Palkia is true. Nando tells him the story about the Pokémon and how the world was created, leaving Ash quite confused. Gardenia tells Ash that they can have their gym battle as soon as Ash has his Pokémon ready. Ash is glad, for he soon will have the chance to get his second badge. Suddenly, Viridian City's Officer Jenny wonders how Team Rocket found out about the orb and who told them to steal it. Up above, a helicopter is seen with Team Galactic...

English Official Summary

Ash and his friends are in Eterna City for Ash's next Gym battle, but first they have to help solve a heist at the Eterna Historical Museum! Someone has stolen the Museum's Adamant Orb, an artifact which is said to increase Dialga's power, and the security footage suggests a Sunflora was one of the culprits. Team Rocket stole the Orb with Meowth disguised as Sunflora, but it's the Pokémon bard Nando and his Sunflora that have been cornered by Officer Jenny! Luckily, our heroes and their recent acquaintance Gardenia, who turns out to be the Eterna Gym Leader, are ready to vouch for Nando's innocence. This is a day for duplicates, because there's another Officer Jenny in town from Viridian City, too! Everyone splits up to search the Museum for the real culprit, with the Eterna City police especially eager to find the Orb first and uphold the honor of their department. But it's Piplup, Pikachu, and Nando's Sunflora who spot Team Rocket gloating over their theft, and soon backup is on the way. Now that Meowth is no longer in the Sunflora costume, Team Rocket tries to bluff their way out of this jam. No such luck! But it's risky to battle Team Rocket while they're holding the precious Orb, so Officer Jenny from Eterna City has her Stunky stun Team Rocket with its powerful stench. Once Gardenia retrieves the Orb, it's a simple matter to defeat Team Rocket. Our heroes are then left to ponder the legends surrounding Dialga and Palkia... as well as the true motivation behind this attempted theft!
