Can You Say the Pokémon? BW
Summary
The narrator introduced today's episode by saying 'Okay! Wake up boys and girls! It's time for Pokémon Entertainment show, Pokémon Smash!". The Pokémon Smash cast shows up and finds Shoko-tan looking for something. They ask her what she's looking for and says she's looking for glasses. Professor Red decides to help out by using his 'Dowsing Machine' which were two metal Dowsing rods. Red quickly finds a pair of glasses but they weren't the ones she was looking for. He then finds another pair and then finally it detects that Golgo has a pair which he gives to Shoko-tan which finally makes her happy.

Shoko-tan introduced this weeks rerun episode as part of the Pokémon Library and she also announces this weeks theme, (ウソにも良いウソがある!). This weeks Pokémon Library rerun episode was Tyltto's Sky! The Heart of Haruka!! (ポッポやのでんしょポッポ!) from the Advanced Generation series. A full summary of that episode is available in the episode guide. Red said his go-to line 'Okay! Pokémon Library!' to start the repeat episode.

After the Pokémon Library rerun episode, Hana and Misaki appeared and Hana said 'Everyone big news'. Misaki then says Maria has returned and Maria appears as well and greets everyone. She gives all the cast members Italian Pokémon gifts and just as Golgo ask's Maria a question, she begins talking in Italian and no one can understand her except for supposedly Professor Red who states in English that "My name is Italian". He tries to talk to Maria in Italian but that doesn't work out too well.

Maria introduces this weeks VTR clip with the Adventure group, the Treasure Hunting Battle Tournament(芸能人宝さがし大会). Takayuki Haranishi (原西孝幸) from Fujiwara Participates in a Treasure Hunting Battle with Robert. Viewers may remember him from Pokémon Sunday #282 (ポケモン☆サンデー #282) when Haranishi was the guest in the Fishing Tournament Exhibition. In this episode, the teams used the Dowsing Machine in Pokémon Black and White. Haranishi and Baba were on one team and Yamamoto and Akiyama were on the other team. The teams went through 3 stages to see who could find the most hidden items in the area. Haranishi and Baba ended up winning as their items totaled 61000 while Yamamoto and Akiyama only had 47150.

Takeshi Tsuruno (つるの剛士) joined the crew in the Marketing Department segment. He is the voice actor for Dread Grangil (ドレッド・グランギル) in the 14th Pocket Monsters movies. He is also the singer for the second Best Wishes ending song: Can You Say the Pokémon? BW (ポケモン言えるかな?BW) which was airing at the time that this episode of Pokémon Smash was ending. He debuted the Full Version of the song and sang it on the show.

After Takeshi Tsuruno sang the song, the Pokémon Smash members were invited to sing the song. Akiyama began singing the song and was doing quite well until he started singing the refrain like the original Ieru ka na instead of Can You Say the Pokémon? BW (ポケモン言えるかな?BW). Hana went next and was able to get quite far into the song until she just couldn't keep up. The announcer then reminded viewers about the Can You Say the Pokémon? BW CD.

See, there's enough randomness in fishing and safari zoning that making a game out of it counts, but isn't everything that you can item find set in stone?
Did the full version list all of them? I wasn't counting.

What made this episode great was the Robert performance of the song. That was definitely the funniest part of the whole show. Akiyama didn't sound *too* bad :P

I loved how Akiyama would start singing the refrain from the original Ieru ka na instead of the song he was supposed to be singing. :p

As for the episode itself... it was pretty obvious they didn't have any interesting news to do an episode on, and just had to come up with something quick. "Dragging along some random comedian and having an in-game dowsing machine contest" isn't the most interesting subject they could've come up with, but at least it's related to Pokemon, not something they've done before, and an okay learning tool/reference guide for viewers.
