The Japan Cup 2013 took place in May in Japan was the second Japan Cup Tournament. There was three entry categories: Junior (born after 2002), Senior (born between 1998 and 2001) and Master (born before 1997). It was later announced on April 18th, 2013, that to celebrate the Pokémon Global Link Japan Cup 2013 (ジャパンカップ2013), all those that registered and participated in the tournament could get the Black Kyurem or White Kyurem C-Gear skins as a gift. The official Japanese Pokémon Global Link website has announced the NicoNico Championships 2013 (ニコニコ超選手権2013) Wi-Fi tournament on March 7th, 2013. NicoNico Douga is a popular video sharing website in Japan. The tournament was only open to players of the Japanese version of Pocket Monsters Black 2 and White 2 who were at least 18 years of age or older. The initial tournament took place from April 6th, 2013 until April 8th, 2013 with the top 4 players to be invited to a battle in real life at the NicoNico Conference 2 which took place April 27th, 2013 and April 28th, 2013. Further details on this tournament were revealed on March 22nd, 2013. |

To celebrate the Christmas season, a special Christmas Cup (クリスマスカップ) tournament was held and was open to all Pokémon except Perap (ペラップ) as they can use the move Chatter. Participants in the tournament each received a Custap Berry (イバンのみ). There was two categories in the tournament: Elementary School for those born on or after April 2nd, 2000 and those Junior High School or older who were born before April 1st, 2000. |

The Pokémon Center Cup (ポケモンセンターカップ オンライン) was a Wi-Fi Tournament for the Japanese Pokémon Global Battle Union and it was a Single Battle tournament to feature players strongest Pokémon. The tournament was open to the first 50000 players that had a copy of the Japanese versions of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 (ポケットモンスター ブラック2・ホワイト2) and registered for the tournament. Players names that were listed in the tournaments rankings were also be able to get the special Musical Pokémon Center de Style♪ (ポケモンセンターDEオシャレ♪) starting on November 21st, 2012. There were 3 categories in this tournament: Junior (Born after January 1, 2001), Senior (Born between January 1, 1997 and December 31st, 2000) and Master (Born before December 31st, 1996). The top three winners in each tournament category will also receive a set of Black Kyurem and White Kyurem plushies. |
