Huh, it seems that it's the trademark music used whenever there's a festival in the show. Remember how it played in PM33 and DP141 too?
It really was hard to identify in the episode.

And what about the version that aired in PM20? Bulbapedia says that the version of Pokémon Ondo that played in that episode was an earlier recording, so what do we do?

Starting from today I'll not be able to put the BGM of 3 episodes a day, like it has been until now. Now I'll only add it more sporadically, unfortunately, because I'm now getting the copies from a high-quality source (since the episodes of the source I was getting from are currently excluding the opening, first frames of the actual episode, ending, next episode previews and sometimes the eyecatches, not to mention that starting from PM61 also the Okido's Pokémon Lecture is missing). But I'll do everything to complete the missing BGM at least for all the episodes (surely up until the end of DP, because most of the music composed for the BW series hasn't been released yet) and movies.

EDIT: Sunain, could you just check for the track at 14:33 in PM60? I think it's the same as the "Taps" in PM16 but am not very sure. Otherwise it's just another of those unreleased musics.

Sorry, I did notice the edit but I just hadn't got around to double checking it. It's not "Taps" that's for sure. It just seems to be some trumpet fanfare they did to make it seem exciting!

That's really a handy addition! Thanks to JDM for making it and you for sharing it. I was surprised every time I went to an update log of an episode and could never notice the changes in the music section.

Moving on, I WAS able to compensate for yesterday's lack of adding BGM. I put the music of the episodes 63-65. I noticed that the episode 63 is the very first episode to use Movie 1's music (and the first to use movie music at all!), and the BGM that was used ties really nice with the first movie's storyline. The episode aired 61 days after the movie premiered in Japan, meaning that it only took 2 months for it to start being used in the show! The following episode played two other tracks from the Mewtwo movie for the first time, which just shows how desperate OLM was to finally shake up their soundtrack of the series xD The episode 65 didn't feature any music of the movie, very likely because the episode and its BGM were originally scheduled to air after the Porygon one, before the Movie 1's soundtrack was even produced.

Sunain, I ask you to check the 6 musics marked as "Unreleased" in the episodes 67 and 68. I'm pretty sure they were never released, but I do need that to be double-checked.

Yeah unfortunately Movie 1 short is the biggest bunch of unreleased music that is used in the anime now. I know it shows up during DP. I relabeled those tracks to indicate that they are movie 1 short BGM and then gave it a name of the scene where that music plays. Hopefully that will be helpful for people. The next few episodes also start to use Movie 1 BGM but I think most of that is on the Movie 1 CD.

Appears PM67 was the first episode to use Movie 1 Short music and PM63 was the first episode to use music from Movie 1. You are probably right about those other episodes not having the music as they were probably mixed way before this music was available.

Oh, so it's from the Movie 1 short. I was suspecting that, it's just that I don't watch the shorts, so I'd never know it REALLY was from there. Man, I really need a page for all the unreleased tracks, because it's increasingly difficult for me to keep up with each unknown music that's only available in the episodes/shorts/movies. Having a list that gives me a quick overview of which track and where it plays would be a big help. Please, do it.

Some of the tracks listed there I think have released CD tracks now. I already went through some of them already to delete and reassign but will need to do a bit more. The page will dynamically update as we add more tracks to the database. Obviously the helpful part is we can see which episodes they are assigned to and their time index. I know for instance that the Sinnoh Title card and Eyecatches have been released on the second BGM set now for sure.

We can also upload the unreleased music tracks samples but will have to rip them from the appropriate episodes.
